The St. Clair River is the largest spawning grounds for the Lake Sturgeon.

There are many stories over the years about this prehistoric ancestor of the Great Lakes. Huge fish, 150 pounds-plus, 100 years old, most caught by accident, some taken illegally by poachers, a lot that simply broke the fisherman's tackle and got away.

In order to insure the longevity of these majestic creatures, we urge our guests to practice C.P.R., (Catch, Photo, Release.)

We offer sturgeon fishing at night during the month of September. One trip per night, 10 p.m. until 4 a.m., 1 to 3 passengers costs $375. All bait and tackle are provided. Anchored still fishing is the technique.

A $50 deposit is accepted to reserve the date, refundable with 7-day advance notice. Weather cancellations can be rescheduled or refunded. Rates subject to change.
